BLUE MED FAB Safety approach at Madrid WAC

Collaborating at a regional level is associated with many challenges and opportunities. There are linguistic, cultural and organisational issues to overcome, as well as the need to respond to mandatory performance targets, including ones for safety.

As of this year, these pressures have been elevated at FAB level with the EU requirement to produce a FAB Performance Plan. ANSPs must now work together as a group to harmonize their SMS processes, pursue efficiency through synergies and achieve common goals. BLUE MED FAB will present its approach for doing it.
