A very full agenda for the first face-to-face NET Task Force meeting!

On the 6th and 7th of November, the BLUE MED FAB NET Task Force, one of the three Task Forces in the Operational Working Group, convened in its first face-to-face meeting since the razionalization of the Task Forces in the ANSP framework in 2016, when all of the activities relating to Free Route operations, Flight Efficiency, Cross-Border standardization and ATFCM optimization were brought together in one unit.

That’s why the NET TF meeting’s agenda was packed with important items, ranging from Free Route airspace CONOPS and roadmap, to the Flight Efficiency Plan 2017 to be finalized by the beginning of the next year, while new airspace design proposals were made and are under evaluation to achieve synchronization and standardization of all the network modifications to reduce delay and improve Capacity Performance.

If a good start is half the battle, there is reason to think that the NET TF will quickly conquer the expected goals.
