At the end of March and beginning of April two important technical meetings were held at HCAA premises in Glyfada, Greece. These meetings were organized in the framework of WP400 “Greece RNP APCH implementation” with the objective of:
• review with stakeholders (ATCOs and airlines) the proposed GNSS procedures design solutions adopted for the concerned airports (Kos, Thessaloniki, Mitilini and Ioannina);
• discuss among BLUEMED safety experts relevant topics and lessons learnt from Malta case concerning safety assessment development for Greece.
The meetings concluded with great interest from airlines (Aegean, Olympic and Ryanair) on the GNSS procedures benefits and sharing of important information for safety assessment activities.
