BLUE MED FAB: amazing till the end of Summer 2016

On the 3rd of November 2016, in Nicosia (Cyprus), the BLUE MED ANSP Committee met both to take stock of Summer 2016 performances and to reflect on the future steps to be undertaken.

As the Summer 2016 Report (updated to the end of October) showed to the Committee Members, the amazing FAB’s Summer performances were confirmed until the end of the season: compared to Summer 2015, Cyprus scored -73,67%; Greece -86,01%; Italy -76,41% in terms of En-route ATFCM delay. No ENR delay for Malta.
Furthermore the ANSPC approved, among the other things, a very dense work program for 2017 for all the four Working Groups in the ANSPC Framework. 

Last but not least, it has been formalized that – according to the principle of rotation of chairmanship – the ENAV’s Director of Operations, Mr Paggetti, will take over as Chair of the ANSPC, starting from the 1st of January 2017, replacing the current chairperson Mrs Papandreou, Director ANS Management and Development of HANSP.
